About the VAT. Prices are ex-VAT. Stripe adds VAT at your own country's rate at checkout, and if your business has a valid EU VAT number you can enter it there — most cross-border EU businesses then pay nothing extra under the reverse charge. You get a proper invoice either way.
Subscription or one-off? The two monthly plans and the dossier unlock the same workspace. The difference is what happens when you stop paying: a cancelled subscription drops you back to the free limits at the end of the period you paid for, while the dossier is bought once and stays. Both include twelve months of regulatory updates; the subscriptions keep updating for as long as you subscribe.
What you are actually buying. A register of the AI systems your team uses, a risk classification for each one, a written usage policy, a training log, and an evidence binder you can hand to a client or an auditor.
